Kitchener gardeners spend months caring for hundreds of holiday poinsettias

Hundreds of poinsettias are being delivered this week to Kitchener City Hall and community centres. Staff working at the city’s greenhouse facility have been growing 800 poinsettias since August. Rob Jacob, the assistant supervisor of horticulture and community gardens for the City of Kitchener, says growing the delicate plant takes a lot of work.
