I’m going to create a wildflower combo. Start by selecting a suitable pot. Now, it should be at least 50 cm wide. This old tub is a great match for this bushland setting, and the rusted out bottom will provide added drainage. You’ll also need a native potting mix. And as desert wild flowers love sandy soil, I’m adding horicultural sand to the mix. Perlite or vermiculite will work just as well. I generally use a 50/50 mix. And now to the wild flowers themselves. This is malamala. It’s a native perennial. It produces absolutely stunning blooms. This variety is called Totus Matilda. This pink kangaroo paw called pearl is super short with branching stems. This one is conno stylus seta lemon lights and it loves dry summers and a sunny spot. This is brackantha bchiata the paper daisy. Flowers best in a sunny spot and it loves good drainage. This brackoscone hybrid is magenta bliss. Its fine foliage is versatile and adaptable, and it flowers most of the year. Once you’ve planted out your pot, place it in full sun somewhere front and center where you can admire the blooms and water in well.
