Hi everyone
I got myself three beautiful fiddle leaf figs last february/march.
Unfortunatly since about a month, they are doing not so well.
Condition
They have (mostly small) brown spots on about half of the leaves and every couple of days one plant drops a leaf. Leaf dropping mainly (but not exclusivly) appear on the plant, facing away from the window. What really staggers me, is that two of the plants just recently grew their first new leafs. Also the one doing worst.
Details
watering: I only water the FLF if the top ~3cm (1,2") of the soil.
light: FLF is close to big north facing windows (winter coming)
vertalizer: I didnt use vertalizer so far
Ideas
- insufficient light -> but why now?
- too little/much water
- root rot even?
Please help guys! I love my fiddle leaf figs and I would be super sad if they die :/

I am no expert, but that looks live root rot, love. That or some disease/pest.
Root rot. That soil looks very dense.
Your plant brown leaves on a fiddle leaf fig is due to a fungle infection from the roots sitting in too much moisture. First of all, the plant should be shifted another pot or container. A few days ago I faced a similar problem and I followed the tips written on the [page.](https://myindoorplants.com/2023/09/25/what-causes-how-to-cure-fiddle-leaf-fig-brown-spots/)
It looks like it may be a lack of light and possible underwatering. When you water, are you fully soaking the soil and allowing it to drain well out the bottom drainage holes? Are you able to put the plant directly in front of and up against your brightest window? It’s a good sign that you have had some new growth, it might just be a small tweak of your watering quantity and the light. An option to consider is adding in fiddle leaf fig rescue drops each and every time you water.
