Love that you got some rain!! Its been raining here in Southern BC on and off for a week. Good idea about the clover. I may do that with our grass, as its always brown in the summer.

I was born and raised in California but moved to the PNW coming up on 2 years in January. The amount of rain I deal with with while gardening on a balcony in containers is not an easy task but I try. It's good to see Cali (state) get some much needed rain. Side note, I'm going to look into the GoPro mentioned. I'm sure my phone would appreciate a break from trying to record in the rain, lol. Im so glad that you finally are receiving rain. Do you store rain water?? Question- I was thinking of red clover. Just because of the color. Is the hight different fir the white compared to the red? What was you reasoning for the white instead of the red?? We haven't gotten rain fir a few weeks. We may get some at the end of the week. Take care and thank you both!!❤
Hope you are able to save as much of that rain for the garden?! Hope it isn't flooding there? We are had a very cold snap. Went from above temps to below temps. Very cold for us in London, UK atm. They said we might even get snow tomorrow morning! Very early and very rare for us to get snow nowadays. Kind of excited if we do get some! Take care!

Do you have rainwater barrels? I thought you did. Going to look into your perennial clover grass clover seed.
I'm in Orange County. My backyard has compact soil, so I dug trenches for drainage and sandbags. I was out in the rain adjusting downspouts to get water into my rain barrels.
