Dill grows exceptionally well indoors because it stays compact, upright, and responds perfectly to controlled conditions. Under purple-white LED grow lights, a 14–16 hour light cycle is ideal for steady vegetative growth. It prefers a light feeding of balanced herb nutrients (something in the 3-1-2 or 4-1-2 range) every 10–14 days. Soil should stay lightly moist, never soggy, with good airflow around the roots. Indoors, you avoid wind stress and temperature swings, allowing dill to grow straight, aromatic, and productive throughout its 40–60-day life cycle.
