When the pod opens a bit by itself telling you the seeds are mature, hold a thumb on one end of the fluff, and with your other thumb scrape the seeds into a container. Once you mix the fluff in with the seeds by pulling the guts out the of the pod, it gets tedious to get the seeds out.
