The November 17 edition of Monday Night RAW became historic in its own right with a star-studded lineup of superstars appearing at the show. However, the highlight of the night in The Garden was the sight of three massive returns, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and AJ Lee to WWE television programming, which have changed the trajectory of storylines going forward and could have a direct impact on the upcoming Premium Live Event, Survivor Series.During the mid-hour of the show, Becky Lynch defended her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. As she dominated the upstart wrestler, AJ Lee made her return towards the end of the match. The distraction allowed Dupri to hit the crossbody from the top rope and pin her to become the new champion. The duo left the sight as Dupri celebrated her first-ever WWE title win and left The Man embarrassed.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar’s return closed out WWE RAW this week
As the historic episode of RAW approached the end, Paul Heyman led The Vision to the ring, who were then joined by Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. They were confronted by their Survivor Series WarGames opponents, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos. As both sides met, an all-out brawl broke out, and the action spilled all over the ringside area. As it escalated, Punk was left alone in the ring when he was about to connect with the GTS on Logan Paul.At the moment, Brock Lesnar’s music hit, and he came out to a huge pop. Lesnar stormed into the ring and took out members of the opposition, i.e, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. As he stood alone, the WWE Universe was shocked again with the return of Roman Reigns. The OTC came down and had an intense stare-off with his longtime rival, Brock Lesnar, as Paul Heyman watched his two former close associates from the outside of the ring.While it was not announced, it is expected that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will be a part of the upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series, joining as the last man for both sides, setting the stage for a blockbuster showdown.
