The bronze statue of a stag (pictured) was taken from the garden of a property on Cheltenham Road, Ashton-under-Hill sometime between Wednesday, November 12 and Friday, November 14.
PC Ashley North said: “We are appealing for information following the theft of a statue that holds great sentimental value to the victim.
“The statue is a memorial to her late husband, and I would like to appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the theft, or anyone who may have seen the statue or seen it offered for sale”.
