Here’s a road trip idea from 39 News.
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens in Nashville is set to welcome the holiday season with the spectacular return of “Holiday Lights at Cheekwood.”
Starting on November 21 and running through January 4, this classic West Nashville tradition invites visitors to step into a magical winter wonderland.
The main attraction is a one-mile, twinkling trail that winds through the gardens, illuminated by more than a million individual lights.
Guests are welcomed into the experience by a dazzling 28-foot Pixel Pine Tree before embarking on their journey through the transformed estate.
The experience offers several ways to warm up and celebrate the season. Visitors can purchase hot cocoa and seasonal libations, roast s’mores by an outdoor fire pit, and browse the offerings at the Holiday Marketplace for unique gift ideas.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Historic Mansion is open for tours, featuring elegant holiday decorations meticulously crafted by former Chief White House Florist, Laura Dowling.
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is located at 1200 Forrest Park Drive in Nashville. For more details, call 615-356-8000.
