  1. love this tree so much!! i have a small house and i put up 3 trees in our main living space.. 2 of them go up this week (they're corner trees, then a big family ornament tree after thanksgiving)… i don't care what people think about it… i used to think the same, "oh, it's too early!" but no more.. i'm with you: i want them up because i love the feel this time of year, i love to enjoy them, study them, remember when and from whom the ornaments came, etc.. it's very sentimental to me… it's funny tho… after christmas? it's done.. i want them out, everything cleaned up and the house back to 'normal', hahaha… looking forward to seeing as many of your trees as you are willing to show us.. i love the idea of the kids' trees and know what a memory that will be for them… enjoy the love, hope, and peaceful feeling this time of year brings.. 🥰❤thanks for the video! 🥰❤

  2. You are giving me the Christmas spirit! I usually don't put up my tree the day after Thanksgiving. You have so many trees to put up so you have to start early. Maybe this year I may change my tradition! I love your nature's ornaments of butterflies, birds and acorns. It seems like the right things to put on your Hartley Christmas tree. Most of all I love the lights. It looks so peaceful sitting in the middle of the Hartley!💚

  3. The birds and butterflies, nature's aviators, are a fun addition to the glittery ornaments.

  4. Hi Laura! Have you ever thought to use a big concrete planter for the tree? I use my biggest and just nestle the tree into it. Your tree looks beautiful!

  5. Artificial trees just seem so wrong in the midst of your live plant collections. 🎄

  6. Thanks Laura!
Your succulents do so well in the Hartley.
I see succulents flower that i’ve never seen before 😄👍🏾

  7. I’m enjoying my second cup this morning, while I watch the beautiful Hartley plant arrangement. Cooler weather brings on that second cup 🏠

  8. I would love to get a tour of all your Christmas trees when you're done. I'm especially interested in seeing the kid's trees. My daughter is in the process of decorating trees for each of her kid's rooms and I would love to see some new ideas on themes and what-not. Also looking forward to seeing you decorate the vintage tree. My husband and I are retired and only do one tree these days, but now I'm inspired to put up a small table-top one in the entry in a woodland theme. I love the Hartley tree! So pretty.

  9. The Hartley tree is so magical and the chandelier is the perfect tree topper! I cannot wait to see the old fashioned tree with the antique ornaments you recently bought.

  10. Your Hardly tree is spectacular. It's elegant but with a woodland feel. Your artistic eye is spot on as usual. A Christmas tea party would be lovely. I'm now officially in the holiday spirit. Thank you.🎄🎀🎄

  11. Had to stop to comment about the ficus tree. I have had them in the past and what happened to me is, they HATE being moved. Even a little bit. If I ever moved mine to another spot, it would drop nearly all its leaves. If I was patient and let it have some time to settle, it would rebound. Anyone else have this happen?

  12. I call the evenings spent looking at the tree communing with it and I absolutely love every single night from the first to the last, like Laura I remember every ornament's legacy with fondness of Christmas seasons past.

  13. The tree is so beautiful! I am thankful that I am not the only one who wants the decorations up now so that I can enjoy the season 🎄🎄

  14. Laura, I think you forgot one of your Christmas trees in your tree count! This weekend, I just caught up on all of last week’s videos, including one when you put up a mini tree in your new delivery cottage out by the front gateway!

I would be tempted to deck out that whole cottage room for Christmas with LED candles and garland draped over the top edge of the mirror, a velvet runner or tablecloth, and maybe a little something motion-activated that plays different Christmas carols when the door opens. I don’t know where you get your restraint from because I would not be able to resist the temptation to make it Little Christmas in there. 😆

  15. The Hartley tree looks beautiful again this year!! Hanging elegant Christmas ornaments one minute and eradicating mealy bugs the next. A fun "day in the life" with Laura! Can you leave the lights on continuously on the Hartley tree? Seeing it lit up early in the morning would be beautiful.

  16. The Christmas tree is so beautiful! So glad the lights on it are still working for you. I love the glass icicles. I need to get a ton more of those. I’m old enough to remember the lead foil icicles we used to use decades ago. I miss that look of those mid century trees. (Makes me wonder how we didn’t all die from lead poisoning as children with all the hazardous stuff we used to use). But everything is looking so perfect in the Hartley!

  17. Your Hartley tree is just glorious! Looking forward to this Christmas, since having lots of health problems. But, our family has been trusting God to get me through this too! God bless you and your family. 👍🏻💕💕🎄🎄

  18. Hardly tree as beautiful as usual. Mealy bags. Where do they come from? I hate those things. My sunroom is infested. I think I've got it under control but they're gross. I thought they will because of you and it helped. Anyway, you and Samantha had the trees adorable

  19. Love the Hartley nature tree. I'm surprised you didn't add the Garden Answer ornaments. Also, I'd offer all of the ornaments year after year so that one can slowly add all of them to their collection. Hartley lean-to compartments might be a great place to grow pineapples this next year.
