    Maybe the concrete is for weight and keeping the thin pine slats rigid? Otherwise it would be quite flimsy.
    I world have painted the metal brackets black.

    Would have made a nice planter instead of a bench, but a bench is also good. I just like growing plants, so I was hoping he was turning that old shelf into a planter of some sort…lol

    He doesn’t have or uses a lot of the correct equipment. When making the first project he seems to damage a lot of the planks by just yanking them from each other by using his feet. Not the sign of a good craftsman.

    mad respect for sitting bench and the stool. however, I'm already making cushions for them. bc my boney butt is hurting just looking at them! 🤣🤣 That tool and shoe rack is gorgeous.
