Just wondering whether I should cut the bottom off it to transplant it. My initial thought was water propagation, but maybe y’all have a different idea? Thanks for the assist.
I’d cut to get a clean cut, I’m also on the process of rerooting a jade branch I found on the street lol

I’d cut an inch or so off the bottom until you see all clean flesh. Let it callus a couple of days then put it in dry to barely moist gritty succulent soil in bright indirect light for about 2 weeks when you can check to see if it has formed any roots yet.

It’s jade. You could drop it on the ground and it will make roots and grow.

I saw a video of a guy that had one like this that fell on the ground and it had grown roots by the time he found it. See a Youtube video called ”you won’t believe how this jade plant grew” by ”Everything Plants”

Cut the stems with leaves, let callus a day and plant on well draining soil, bright indirect light. Should root in a few weeks.
Cut the stems with no leaves making sure that the pieces have at least one node (the part where new branches and leaves sprout). Also let the cuttings dry for a day. Put them in well draining soil and barely cover them. Same, in a few weeks leaves and roots should appear.
