BOISE, Idaho — Winter Garden aGlow returns to the Idaho Botanical Garden for another season of twinkling wonder.

The annual event, which has grown into the garden’s largest fundraiser, features thousands of hand-strung bulbs placed by volunteers and staff. It runs from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31.

According to the website, this year’s display welcomes several new attractions:

The Magic Awaits

Each night at Winter Garden aGlow tells its own story. Wander through glowing pathways and discover moments of wonder at every turn.

Santa’s North Pole

Visit Santa on select nights at the ‘North Pole’ Gathering Place. On non-Santa evenings, the North Pole becomes a twinkling photo spot perfect for families.

The Trains Return

A beloved favorite is back. Watch the miniature trains wind through the Garden, bringing nostalgia and delight to guests of all ages.

The Yuletide Lodge Bar

Formerly the Snow Globe Bar, this cozy lodge-inspired retreat serves festive drinks and warm holiday cheer.

Additionally, the display now features a festive scavenger hunt, starring Jerome the Gnome. The mischievous character is hiding in 12 locations across the illuminated grounds. People start by scanning a QR code at the entrance to receive their first clue, then follow a trail of hints by scanning codes at each designated spot. Those who find all 12 hiding places receive a prize at the Garden Store in the Plaza and are automatically entered into weekly prize drawings.

The Idaho Botanical Garden encourages people to share their experiences using #JeromeTheGnome or #WinterGardenAGlow.

The website states that every ticket purchased helps the Idaho Botanical Garden maintain spaces, classes and experiences that connect people with nature throughout the year.
