I stripped my Common Milkweed seed pods today. Is it "too late" to plant them? We had our first snowfall last week, but it didn't stick. Today hit 60 degrees. We are expecting snow again in the area tomorrow, which again, is not expected to stick. Can I plant these on our next dry day or do I need to wait until spring? I stripped the seeds and put them in the fridge despite the pots already being in the snow last week.
I live in the Great Lakes region in PA. Zone 6.
I am a beginner so I want to do this correctly. Thank you!

Now is a great time for planting. Don’t worry too much.
Plant them now and don’t sweat it, they will likely send seedlings all around the yard anyway, these things are weedy af.
