I Built a JAIL in Grow a Garden

Ever since the beginning of Grow Garden, you have the option to steal others plants from their garden. And that means crime has been running rampant in this game, and I’m going to put a stop to that. I’ve become the law. And today, we’re going to make a prison in Goroa Garden. We’re going to lock up everybody who steals from someone else. And here’s how I’m thinking we do it. We’re going to have a big gray building just right in the middle. And then we’ll have a bunch of jail cells. Then we’ll have a little outside area for our prisoners. And then we’ll build a nice secure fence so nobody’s going to be able to escape. All I got to do now is make that. I got to start by building the walls. This might take a while. 5 minutes later. Oh, those weren’t hard at all. This is what I’m thinking. A grand jail entrance. And then you walk in here. All the cells are in here. And then out back is the the yard. I do still have to do a lot of work. As you can see, there’s no roof currently, so the prisoners could just crawl out like that. That’s not very secure. I need to fix that. Obviously need to add the jail cells. We don’t have those currently. And hopefully we can trap some people in the future. But before we get that, let’s start off with the yard back here. I have this Jurassic Park fence that I got during the dinosaur update, and it’s honestly perfect for this situation. So, I’m just going to make a little area that they can come and hang out outside here. Just like this. There we go. This is This is perfect. And the best part is they can’t crawl out. It stops them. We’ll even make this area lovely. I’ll put a little bench down over here. And I’ll even plant some flowers. Hey, look how beautiful this outside area is. Okay, we got to get back to work on the inside, though. And here’s how I’m going to do the inside. I I’ve realized I only have enough space for two jail cells, but that’s going to have to do. That’s because I only have two beds. And um I need to put those for the prisoners to sleep on. And how I’m going to do the jail cells, I’m going to use these fences right here. I think these are perfect cuz if you turn them on their side, it’s kind it kind of looks like jail cell bars. So, we’ll just make a ton of these right here. And just like that, we have a couple of jail cells. We can look at them in there. There we go. And then if I ever need to put someone in there, I can just hilt this open and it’s kind of like a door. And then they come in here and then I just close it like that. Oh, wait, wait a second. I just locked myself in here. Oh, no. I even gave them a little window so they can um see Sam and Steven out there. They’ll enjoy the view. But yeah, this this is how this cell’s going to work. I just got to let myself out real quick. And then I have this front area. Um I’m thinking this is where I’m going to work. This is like the uh my office. I’m thinking we put a bookshelf down so um I can give them books to read. And I’m thinking we can have a little check-in desk right here where I can do all my paperwork. And I’ll put a little chair down. It’s the um this is the only chair I have. Okay. It It looks a little weird. It’s not a normal chair, but ignore that. Then we’ll put some security cameras over here. And I’ll hang this beautiful picture up right here. I’m going to pretend that’s a wanted poster. Oh, and of course, we need this side while you’re on camera. We’ll just hang that up right there. And I think the inside’s done. I’m just going to be sat at my desk like this waiting for criminals to show up. Maybe they’ll turn themselves in. Okay, I got to finish the roof and everything. I also want to paint the outside. I want to put these on here so it looks gray rather than brown. Feel like a big gray building’s more menacing. And then I just got to make the roof. And that’s the jail done. You might see the hole in the roof. I thought the jail could use a bit of a skylight. I mean, as long as the jail cells are covered so they can’t climb out, we’re good. However, before I put some criminals in here, I need to decorate the outside. There’s just a few things I need to put out here, like a ton of blueberry bushes, a few trees here and there, and of course, a nice welcoming sign. It’s perfect. I think we’re ready to go and find some people who have been stealing stuff from other people’s gardens. It’s time that there’s a justice system in Growa Garden. And don’t worry, police officer Woolow is on the case. Call me detective. Uh, detective get stuff done. Yeah. Yeah. Call me that now. All you need to do is subscribe. That’s not Don’t call me detective get stuff done. Just subscribe. However, there is one more thing I need to do before I get stuff done. As you can see, this little wood fence is not going to keep this jail secure. However, in a recent update, they’ve added it where you can do fence skins, and there’s a jail fence. However, um you get this jail fence from reaching level 40. Not going to lie, I’ve been trying for um weeks to get to level 40, but I am I’m nowhere close. So, instead, we’re going to go with this laser fence, which I think is even more secure than the jail fence. And how you get that is go over to the garden ascension guy. I think his name’s Thomas. No, it’s not. It’s Orrison the coin keeper. I was close with Thomas. I think you chat with him and one of the things he’s selling is the laser fence. It’s glowing beams that look super secure and it costs 10 coins. I have four. How you get coins is you ascend basically. And all I need is a chilled blueberry. And luckily I came prepared. Please take this Thomas. I want to ascend. And all I do is hit confirm. And I got 14 coins now, which means I can buy a laser fence. Give me one laser fence, please. Oh, this is going to make my garden look so secure. Oh my gosh. This isn’t the most secure jail you’ve ever seen. I don’t know what is. Maybe Alcatraz, I guess. Maybe. No, it’s mine. I have laser fences. Okay, time to find those criminals that have been stealing from people. Um, excuse me. Have you Have you seen any criminals? This is my detective work, by the way. This is how I find criminals. Have you seen any about What do you mean? Has anyone stolen anything from your garden recently? They said no. Let me know if they do. Oh, they said, “Who are you? I’m detective. Get stuff done.” Okay, that’s what they call me in the academy, but currently I’ve not gotten anything done. Um Oh, wait. He’s going to jail. Hi. Welcome to jail. He says, “Pretty cool.” You want to see the jail cell? I think he’s innocent. I don’t think he’s stolen anything. I just want to see if the jail cell works currently. He says, “Sure. Here, follow me. Follow me, sir. Follow me.” into here. Get in here. And then we just No. Get back. Wait. Go back in for a sec. Please, sir. Please don’t go back in. I need to test it. Who is that? This looks like a bandit. He looks like an outlaw. Are you an outlaw, sir? This would be perfect for me as a detective finding the most wanted outlaw of the Wild West. He didn’t answer me. He kind of He left me on red. He’s just standing there now. Sir, do you break the law? He says, “Lol, no. Oh, you look like an outlaw. You want to check out my jail cell? You want to You want to check that out? He’s just looking at me. He’s just looking at me. Oh, he’s talking to someone else now. He’s He’s doing a trade. I guess trading’s not illegal. Oh, I need to trap somebody in my jail cell. Oh, I have somebody else in the jail. All right. Welcome to my five-star jail. Wait a second. He’s sitting in my seat. Why are you sitting in my seat? That is cool. Have you seen any crimes recently? They said no. Okay. Well, um, do you want to be my partner in justice? I feel like you have a great base to be an assistant for the police force. They said yes. Yay. Let’s go find criminals. Come on. There’s a criminal. Are you a criminal? And to us, Alexis, we’re interrogating. Ah, he ran. He ran. He ran away. He said he was guilty. Are you a criminal, sir? You a Vita? He looks like he has a guilty face. I’ve seen that deer before. And that deer is a bad deer. There’s no looking for criminals. Okay, we’re looking for criminals. Wait, Alexis is back. He’s still running. You can’t run from the law, Alexis. Wait a second. Where’d he go? I think he successfully ran. Oh, here he is. He says, “What did I do?” Wait, Javita stole from Alexis. Criminal. Criminal. Crime. There’s crime. I’m going to need you to come with us. He said, “You’re going to jail. Come with us. This is your new home. Come on. Get in the Get in the cell. You’re trying to escape already, but you’re not getting out, sir. Into the cell you go. Come on. Where are you going? He looks No, he’s running again. We got a runner. We got a runner. Just go into the cell, please. Just go into it. Oh, he’s actually going. Oh, cool. He’s actually He’s actually going to go. Just go. Yep. Right into the cell. The cell over here. No, don’t. I guess you can enjoy outside for a little bit, but your 15 minutes is up over here. He’s got a flower for me. Is that a bribe? It’s cell time for you. Don’t try to bribe me with a flower. Got me. Into here. Into here. Right into Yep. Yep. Get inside. You’re getting locked up. You’re getting locked up. There we go. We We locked him in. Our first criminal. Justice. He said no. Perfect. We have our first criminal inside. He said, “Yeah, we caught a Yeah, we did. Think about what you’ve done.” Okay, that’s a face of a guilty man in those jail cells. How long do I keep him in there? Is the question. Okay, you’re free to go. Go on, go be free. You served your time. He says, “Thank you. I hope you learn not to steal cuz if I catch him again, he’s going straight back to jail. He said, “Okay.” Yep. Be free. We actually managed to catch a criminal. That was epic. I didn’t think that was going to happen. And I think that that’s another successful day of the Grow a Garden Police Department.
