Conquest (Annihilation) matches are about to get even crazier with the addition of this new arcade game mode set on a new map.
As promotion for the fifth season of Marvel Rivals ramps up, fans of the Arcade game modes are in for a treat with the introduction of a larger-scale Annihilation mode. Creative Director Guangguang revealed the first details about the new “18 V 18 Conquest (Annihilation)” mode in Volume 11 of the Marvel Rivals Dev Vision.
18 V 18 Conquest (Annihilation) will be the seventh arcade game mode following Conquest, Doom Match, Free Fight, Clone Rumble, Giant Size Brain Blast and Conquest (Annihilation). Conquest (Annihilation) is a 6v6 Deathmatch where the first team to earn 50 points (or the most points before the timer runs out) wins. Points are gained by dealing final hits, final hits also heal 200 HP to the player. It’s likely that the 18 V 18 Mode will function similarly to this, likely with a higher point goal and a longer match duration. More details will be revealed as we get closer to the launch of the mode on November 27th.
Additionally, the 18 V 18 Conquest (Annihilation) mode will be set on a new “Grand Garden” map also set for launch on November 27th, we may have already seen a small tease of the map at the end of the Season 5 trailer. A proper map trailer should also be released closer to its launch.
