Jess and Miah, would love for you to do a video on all the good ways you're aware of of heating a cold frame/high tunnel like yours, or like you would make!
ππ So long, summer 2025 garden! ππ
Do Will still work for you on the farm/garden?
Time for hot tea… fire place… and seed catalogs… blessings Kiddos! ππππΏπ΅
Nice hat. Did you knitted it yourself?
You are so beautiful. It's more than skin deep.
Thanks for the end of season tour! On the topic of winter growing in a greenhouse, where i am in the 43rd parallel, I'd need to add grow lights as well as heat. The sun gets so low in the sky that its not strong enough to make plants grow.
Do you have a strong enough sun for things to actually grow, or do plants grow a lot slower through the winter?
Hi Jess&Miah, β€ your laughter and joyest Time's in this video. I am seeing Lot's of Scarve crocheting in your future winter…burr-rrr π§£π§π ππ

Itβs hard to say goodbye to the garden at this time of the year.
Saying goodbye tot he summer garden is sad but I am ready for the season of rest, reading , and fiber arts. I have a few tomato plants hanging on in my greenhouse but we really haven't had enough sun to ripen anything. My chickens use it as their winter run so I will just drop them down for the chickens when they do die off. Amish paste is a great late season variety. Keeps going after the frost for me.

I feel like if you guys ever create a gardening App the clip with Miah saying βitβs nice having Jessica in your back pocketβ will work great as an adπ.
I thought that I had eaten all my home-grown tomatoes but found one today that had rolled to the back of the refrigerator! So I have Officially eaten my last tomato π’. It was truly β sweet sorrowβ cause it was so yummy and sweet but I was so sad as I ate itπ₯². Kinda reminded me of Homer Simpson with his poor pet lobsterπ
That greasy chemical weapon the cops use will get you twice, wait till you get in a hot shower
Im hoping yall take on the citrus again, got me 9 citrus trees
Thanks for taking us to the garden to say "goodbye!," Jess!
We have a small pollytunnel and keep our tumble dryer in there π π π
Thank you for sharing β€β€β€
Cracked up and laughed out loud when you were holding your precious last tomatoes to your heart "my precious"
I know that you love your fresh tomatoes, Jess. What if you installed a very small tunnel and grow tomatoes and some fresh peppers overwinter? A very small one might be easier to manage, easier to keep a conducive environment. That may take effort, planning, expense that you don't want to do, but Jess, π π fresh tomatoes! ππ
