Hello, I have had this palladium set up for around a month now, hoping to soon at vampire crabs and some neocaridina shrimp and I cannot seem to keep the Ph stable and where I want it. I have recently tried adding an oak leaf but ph is still testing at 8.5+ when I want it 7.6-8.0, the tap water I use tests at around 7.5 and all substrate/hardscape should be inert as far as I can tell, any help would be appreciated!

Add some peat moss. I added a lot of oak to my new blackwater tank and it did stain the water but it did not lower the ph.
Cattapa leaves (Indian almond) will also reduce the ph
