Finally got all the wood shaped and sealed. Moss was delivered yesterday. Connected the lights, fogger and pump. Vase broke when I was handling it.
This was a working prototype.
Things I learnt:
Glass container must be thicker and more durable.
Wooden platforms should have been thicker, the weight of the stone adds up.
The fogger and lights is too much, it just makes the whole thing opaque.
Epoxy resin dries in patches rather than giving an even coating like varnish. (Not sure if you can get mossarium safe varnish, need to look into it.
The little 6mm scale buildings need to be painted brighter tones.
Tiny waterfalls drop in unexpected directions.
On the positive side:
The pump and dragonstone works well together.
Aquarium sealant has good hold and is easy to base and hold the stone with.
Epoxy resin is good for sealing the little rivers.
Sigh, back to the start.
