I did some research and eventually put together this small paludarium, but I couldn't get any of my plants to grow successfully, and the sand and substrate did get messed up.
The plants all died and the fern wall in the back has fungus. Especially the two side walls
I'm pretty new to the hobby so I'm wondering if there is anything I could do to scavenge or if anyone would have any tips for this to be succesful. I did have springtails in there but it wasn't enough.
I'm considering redoing it to have a lot less water than initially planned and I am wondering if I should just completely take out and replace the back wall or if I could keep at least the middle one. As well as what plants might be recommended to keep In here as the ones I initially had didn’t do so well
