    I too keep the waste in a bucket with the lid cut in middle portion for air but no holes in the bucket. After 15 days the water from the waste has no place to go and the whole compost turns to gutter.

    Dont use plastic. Use clay pot/metal. The plastic compounds also can be absorbed into the compost as it will be acidic, warm and can corode the plastic. Trust me i have done this before.
