Took me almost 2 full months or so to basically finish this build. I thought I could get it done in under a week when I first started looking into paludariums 😂. I just added all my plants on the ground section and the aquatic section along with dumping in a group of isopods and springtails already. I’m wondering what other plants should I add? And also what’s the best way to prepare the water (regular tap water) for incoming shrimp and fish species in the upcoming weeks? Another thing is, I currently have a mesh cover on the top but I read it’s better to have a closed cover like a plastic or plexiglass cover to keep the humidity inside. Is that the better option (I eventually want to add vampire crabs)? If you guys could give me some advice that would be amazing!

This absolutely looks like a good vampire crab tank, I assume you plan for them before working on the tank. I think adding some aquatic plants would be a nice touch, you can also try moss considering you are planning to maintain the humidity and temperature.. The background seems a little bit empty, but if that’s what you prefer, no issues. If you want to add sth maybe some climbing plants would be great at the back? Oh and maybe another driftwood in the water + anubias tied to them?
