One of my local nurseries gives away those free 16×16” shipping trays. They’re pretty flexible, so I use two or three and stuck a metal mesh sheet between two layers for some stability. I can fill a 6×6 grid of 2.7” plastic pots as seen here or an 8×8 of standard 2” nursery pots if I’m propping.
I basically ran out of room in my prime sun areas, and started using these to save some room while growing out smaller plants, and it allows me to move a bunch of plants together into sunnier or shadier spots.
I used to have 3 of these, but now I’m down to just this one.

I do this as well. I get the boxes that they put aside at BJ’s to carry your groceries out, and I use that to move my plants around the yard into the sun.

I work at a nursery so I legit take the tiny pots and succulent trays to grow my props in 🤭
Because I have so many small pots, I found the shelf trays from Dollar Tree work, especially for drainage and placement on my shelves.
A little big for my space. I prefer the plastic paper trays that Target sells at the start of each school year. (and no other time, unfortunately). Holds twelve 2in pots or 6-9 3-4in pots and is very portable. I Line my steps up to my apartment with them.
