This is the Antilia (Ambani Residence) Altamount Road (S.K Barodawala Road), Tardeo, South Mumbai.

Due to high security, it is not allowed to take pictures from the front entrance, so could manage only the side view.

The pillars and the architecture is quite unique, spotted a few tourist who were here to take pictures as well.

According to the information available on the internet, Antilia has a fair share of history and controversies as well which is as follows:-

Antilia’s history includes the acquisition of the land in 2002, construction by Perkins and Will and Leighton Holdings from 2006 to 2010, and the Ambani family moving in during late 2011.

The building is named after a mythical Atlantic island and is designed to withstand a magnitude 8 earthquake.

There has also been a historical land controversy surrounding the site, which was once home to an orphanage.

Land acquisition and prior history
In 2002, Antilia Commercial Private Limited, an entity owned by Mukesh Ambani, purchased the 400,000 sq ft plot for $3 million USD.

The land had a prior history as the site of an orphanage built by Kareem Bhai Ibrahim in 1895 and managed by the Waqf Board. This history has led to land-use controversies.
Construction and design

Construction on Antilia began in 2006 and was completed in 2010.

The architectural firm was Perkins and Will, and the initial construction was handled by Leighton Contractors, with B.E. Billimoria & Company Limited completed the project.

The 27-floor building is designed to withstand a magnitude 8 earthquake.

The design is inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, with multiple garden terraces.

Each floor has a unique design and varying floor plans.

My purpose was to just show the architecture and not get into any controversy.

It is a complicated issue and can only be sorted by law and both the parties involved in it.
