I've been exploring and fawning over crested succulent photos and going back to photos of my very first succulent purchases. And that's when I realized…. I have a crested blue sedum and I had NO idea.

He's in very rough shape right now following a toddler fall and being repotted but there are definite signs of life as well as one crested stem that broke off and is already rooting. This gorgeous chimera is half beautiful rosettes and half alien coral reef. I'm also attaching a picture of the ones we had for sale that day so what were the odds I'd pick up this absolute miracle without even knowing? Now I've lifted the fan base off the soil line with tuff gravel for breathability. It does seem to be bouncing back, growing tiny little leaves again. 🍃
Any and all advice and tips welcome on how to keep this beauty prosperous for years to come 💚🙏🏻

Absolutely wild that you accidentally scored a crested blue sedum, surviving toddler falls, repotting and still sending out tiny leaves like the resilient little alien coral reef it is.
