Purchased in ~2021 with ~5 growing tips. I think in cultivation it tends to produce more heads due to an excess of nutrients. It also self-shadows, especially around the edges, resulting in etiolation as the heads compete for light. I think I would need intense sun from all sides at all times to keep it compact and globose. It’s been in this pot for at least 3 years, and at the current growing rate, I hope it completely fills up the pot by 2027.

I got like a dozen flower buds around July which died in a heat wave 🥲 but maybe that allowed the rest of the plant to grow faster. Hopefully I get buds again next year!
