A Palm Beach Gardens man is facing felony charges after allegedly posting threatening videos and messages on social media targeting a local church, according to an arrest affidavit filed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.Michael Iaboni, 32, was arrested on Nov. 8, 2025, and charged with written threats to kill or do bodily harm. The threats, described by investigators as referencing a potential mass shooting or act of terrorism, were directed at Christ Fellowship Church, located just 1 1/2 miles from Iaboni’s residence.The investigation began after a Crime Stoppers tip alerted authorities to disturbing videos posted on Facebook under the account “Michael A Iaboni.” In the videos, Iaboni reportedly mimicked firing a rifle, made statements like “It’s all kill shot,” and expressed violent intentions toward religious institutions and political figures.One video included the statement: “I’m going after mega churches; Christ Fellowship is on my list to hit also.” Another post warned: “If anything happens to me while I’m expressing my 1st amendment right… Operation Murder the Corruption will begin.”Detectives from the Targeted Violence Unit (TVU), in coordination with the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, confirmed that Iaboni had recently signed up for a church program and had been seen frequenting the location. The timing of the threats coincided with a large volunteer event scheduled at Christ Fellowship, expected to draw over 1,000 attendees.Authorities also noted prior incidents involving Iaboni, including a 2023 encounter with Florida Fish and Wildlife officers regarding the discharge of a firearm in a public area.Iaboni was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and is awaiting further court proceedings.
