honeygrow is adding another spot in North Jersey.
Located at 190 Passaic Ave. in Kearny, the Philadelphia-born healthy fast-casual chain celebrated its grand opening with a Nov. 8 ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Founded 13 years ago, honeygrow is known for wholesome, made-to-order stir-fry, salads and honey-based desserts. Along with dishes for specific dietary plans – including paleo, keto, vegan and high protein – as well as catering services, honeygrow has a kids’ menu of customizable options.
Besides Kearny, honeygrow’s national footprint of 60-plus company-owned locations includes local stores in Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Hamilton, Hoboken, Marlton, Moorestown, New Brunswick, Old Bridge and Toms River.
As part of a continuing expansion effort across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, the chain plans to launch soon in North Brunswick, Woodbridge, Cedar Knolls, Watchung and Montvale.
In a statement, honeygrow founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg said, “It is an exciting moment to mark the 10th honeygrow location in New Jersey with the opening of our Kearny restaurant. Since opening our Hoboken location in 2015, we’ve been a part of the northern New Jersey community for over ten years, and we’re excited for more restaurants to come!”
At Kearny Square, honeygrow joins a tenant mix that includes Target, BJ’s Wholesale Club, ShopRite, Five Below, Jersey Mike’s Subs, PetSmart, Chipotle Mexican Grill, T-Mobile, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses and Buffalo Wild Wings.
