The Gardenettes’ November Garden of the Month honors go to Darlene and Damon Gaudet of Chandler Drive for their beautifully maintained colorful garden, according to Darnell Kimber, Gardenette chairman.
Club members met Nov. 6 to present the award.
Attending were Kimber, Karen Hotard, Vicky Fannaly, Mary Hirsch and Marilyn Wright.
The Gaudets have lived at the location for many years and added improvements to give their yard a tranquil and pleasant area to entertain and enjoy. Colorful lantana, vinca, hibiscus, lush coleus, vibrant cyclamen, celosia and large pineapple plants intermingle with yard art.
Gardenettes are members of District VI, Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc. and National Garden Clubs Inc.
