I was given this dying plant a few months ago and decided to dip the roots into my aquarium. It took a few weeks, but then it started putting out these neat little water roots. Now they are growing fairly rapidly and the plant is putting off new leaves every week or two. Probably helps that I'm blasting it with a grow light as well.
