  1. Brother, just take this video down. It goes against everything I have been taught. A plastic bag will deteriorate and break down into microplastics. Microplastics can actually be absorbed by the plants. I don’t even use tarps to cover my compost for this specific reason. Eventually the tarp breaks down and leaves microplastics in your soil. This is truly a terrible idea but I understand that gardening is about experimenting.

  2. A book about you and Tuck sounds like Heaven on Earth. Can't wait! ♥♥♥ for your Guardian Angel. 🙂

  3. What about all the micro plastics in our food and how it's causing humans /wildlife and marine life health problems ?

  4. How did it get water?? for rain cannot get in. Did you water them yourself? As you say you did not check it for a long time, I take you did not water them?

  5. can you make a video on how to tell when you should harvest certain crops? like Cucumbers, Watermelon and other stuff like that? My main problem I run into when growing is telling when my stuff is done and ready to harvest, that happened with my Pumpkins this year. Love the videos, keep up the great work!

  6. Well done! I have been inspired to try it. Thank you for sharing your world and wealth of knowledge. See you in the next one.
    ❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜

  7. Next time, maybe do one bag as the control, ans them another exactly the same veggies, but with whatever you would add to help. 😊

  8. Very cool experiment man. Loved the entire vid. Basil is always my garden MVP. So tough and easy to grow and the smell, ummmmmmmm. I may have a basil addiction. Haha

  9. how often do you water? i think i am over watering and that's part of the reason i'm a total gardening failure :/p

  10. I was yelling for you to introduce some earthworms, but I get you were testing using just a bag. I have done this, but I would prep in advance, cut open, slip a few slices of bread, worms and lite water, and a few scoops of live soil from my garden to introduce biological activities to the sterilized store soil. I wish garden supply companies would go back to use of burlap sacs with hemp paper so we could put bags down like this video and not have to collect plastic before it breaks down from the sun's light! Otherwise, you have demonstrated what can be achieved. Edit: I've done this with cardboard boxes too, especially great for one season's growing of potatoes.

  11. Can't wait for the book! Tuck!❤❤❤ Amazing job planting, as usual! Thanks for inspiring us yet again!

  12. Loved it! I love to see experiments with results over time. ❤❤❤ Thinking of Tuck. I know he is watching over you and your gardens!

  13. When you put holes in the bottom of the bag, because of the characteristics of plant roots, I wonder how many roots went through those holes, into the soil below.

  14. Hello, I live in Buffalo NY about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls. I just found your channel a week ago. I want to start a house garden but I only have my cold basement because I rent. With the economy being what it is now I want to plant bell pepper, corn, strawberries, lettuce, onions, potatoes and a medicinal garden. Can it be done without breaking the bank? Can i put a bed in my basement? Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me I greatly appreciate it. Have a great day.,

  15. This is such a great video. The experiment worked! I think this would be a fun project for someone without an established garden, to give them a taste of success and home grown veggies! 😁👍
