She gets good humidity, and I have a good watering routine. In chunky soil with some sphagnum moss on top. My bird of paradise is right next to it, and is growing pretty good (4 new leaves in 2 months) so I know it’s getting plenty of sun (south facing).
I think I got it in July? And it hasn’t had a single new leaf. The only thing I could think of is maybe the pot is too big? I repotted it as soon as I got it, because the nursing pot was so jammed it was cracking open. But to my knowledge they don’t like to be root bound so I dunno??

Pot looks okay. They like to be snug.
Hey! Similar thing happened when I repotted mine. It stopped putting out leaves and some of the older leaves even went a bit yellow at the edges, but I just left it and kept watering as normal… Turns out that it was just focusing on pushing roots into the new space it had. Once it got comfy in the new pot, it went back to putting out leaves, and even put out 2 incredible mature fenestrated leaves.
This is about light exposure. They literally spend their entire lives trying to increase direct sun. I strongly encourage you to remove the moss from the pot. It provides no benefit, but it hinders the wet-dry cycle of the substrate and this compromises root health. 💚
I agree with shiftyskeleton, take that moss off the top. This could be transplant shock but I would give it more light.
looks fine. Give it some time.
It very well just could be fillin out the pot with roots, I have two monstera right now who refuse to put out new leaves after a repot
One was a top cut and the other was terribly root bound but had been pumping out leaves previously
I have other monstera in the same grow room with the same lighting conditions…one massive deliciosa (“The Big Guy”) who tossed a new leaf yesterday, 2 albos who literally race each other always throwing new leaves on the exact same day, a baby white monster who FINALLY put out his first new leaf since his arrival several weeks ago..
But those two just won’t join the group, so honestly I’m guessing they’re just making themselves snug in their new homes. Unpacking the dishes, putting linens away etc..They’ll eventually get bored and come out to see what’s goin on
Big pot doesn’t slow leafs. When I bought mine, I set it in a pot 3* the recommended size for growth and easy watering and it’s throwing leafs constantly.
It might be about sun or nutrients.
That pot is not too big. Probably light. They grow like weeds when they’re happy. Something is wrong and it’s not the pot size. Could also be watering. Or wrong soil. Who knows
