I don't like how this turned out. At first I wanted to make a biophytum sensitivum the centerpiece for this but that turned out to be too big so I had to scrap that idea.

Everything went downhill after that. The lava rocks that I placed in there I couldn't break them into the desired size or shape and now they are almost hidden.

I put in too many plants so the hardscape isn't visible.

The saxifraga and fern are too big for it.

Plants used: 4 different kinds of fittonia, strawberry begonia, hemigraphis, fern, bolbitis difformis, pilea microyphylla, salaginella ucinata, pincushion moss, hypnum sheet moss and two other mosses that I don't know the ID of.

Not bad at all imo. The thing with working with natural things is that you have to work with what you got. It won’t always, or even never, be exactly as you had in mind. But nothing is lost. You can either let it be and maybe start liking it when things start growing. Or you can take everything out, reuse what you like and keep the rest for future projects.
