  1. This isn’t great information for crocus: Spring flowering types are not saffron crocus!

    Saffron crocus is a Fall flowering type & dies back in Spring.

    As far as I know Spring blooming types aren’t useful as a culinary herb and are only decorative.

  2. had to harvest Mongolian giant sunflowers back second half of September. They were about to be ransacked by squirrels anyway for the seeds and the plants were tall, fully formed and dying off. Problem is, trying to store the seeds ended up getting the massive amount I harvested all forming mold within a week trying to dry them off. I still have some from the original pack, only planted 4 but sucks I couldn't save the seeds from at least the biggest plant that grew this year

  3. 😂 You got new wheels! ❤ How exciting! My husband is trying to convince me to buy him a mini (standing) for dirt and feed moving because he's not getting any younger. I'm considering the investment because I do ask him to move a lot of dirt… and feed. Plus… the neighbors could use it, too.
