Fairtree Village is now Boyles of Ballyseedy.

Fairtree Village has come under new ownership and will now operate as Boyles of Ballyseedy. The well-known local destination, recognised for its family-friendly spaces and community events, is beginning a new phase under its updated name.

The move opens a new chapter at the site which was first opened in 1992 and was formerly owned by convicted drug trafficker Nathan McDonnell who is now serving a 12-year sentence.

The change marks the start of what the new owners describe as a period of renewal and continuity, maintaining the atmosphere and amenities that have made the site popular while introducing a refreshed identity.

“With this new name, our goal is to bring not only a refreshed identity but also consistency, stability, and sustained growth to the site,” said Adrian Boyle, who is part of the new ownership at Boyles of Ballyseedy. “We will continue to build on everything people already cherish — the friendly atmosphere, the sense of belonging, and the experiences that bring families and friends together.”

According to the team, visitors can expect the same welcome, community spirit, and garden centre facilities familiar from Fairtree Village, alongside plans for continued seasonal events and local markets.

Boyles of Ballyseedy aims to remain a gathering place for families and the wider community, keeping the spirit of Fairtree Village while beginning a new chapter under its new name.
