Guys, someone ask last week about Ivy and everyone said it's an easy prop… Where am I going wrong? I took a cutting, added some rooting hormone, left it in water for a week… Looks like I'm losing it. I had the other end in the water also but I took it out as it looked like the leaf was drying out, figured maybe one end needs to be out… Any obvious mistakes here?
I took a few and have another few going outside but yeah nothing that's looking like a great success after a week. The outside ones may e it's too cold but this one has been inside… Maybe it was too old? Please let me know so I can try again. Than you!

Rooting hormone on a plant which already has roots negatively impacts the roots. This plant already had roots and was ready for soil, not water.
