Our sad little Costco orchid is finally putting out a new flower spike!! Who knew knowing how to take care of a plant makes it easier 😄
We’ve had it for about two years now, and at some point set it on a bookshelf and forgot it existed for close to six months. Somehow was still kicking with some sad wilty leaves, but I finally learned a bit about how to actually care for it (no more ice cubes!!) and she’s thriving now with a new leaf, some new root growth, and a baby spike!! Ignore the gross water, she’s having a good soak before getting new moss (gnat breakout on the plant shelf)

Yay! I also gave up ice cubes a couple months ago and got a new spike in early October.
