I am considering buying an flf one of these days but I think she loves the sun and we don't always have sunny days here. I'm afraid it's just gonna die on me. Also, I think it's quite expensive or is it the usual price for an flf this size?

That’s $115.00 CDN!! Wild. I can buy one that size here for $40. That is very expensive, I would never pay that price.
They are notoriously fussy. If you have anything but north facing windows, it should be fine though. Read up on their care!
