Now the client had a new out building at the bottom of the garden and he didn’t want to mess the grass up. They need a pathway. I said I thought it right. Don’t you worry. Nothing major just a couple of 600 by 600s from A to B. With that it’s a lot of dig out. So in comes the old skip pillery downs. Who else up the boys? And then it was time to set out each individual slab. So we got 600 by 600 castle gray Indian sandstone. We’re going to dry lay them out first. 300 mil between each slab and then we’re good to go. So then once they were set out, it’s time to dig around them and dig each individual square out. Dig it out 6 in down in the barrer out to the skip wallop. 40 of them long. But we got cracking on it, buddy. And with a job like this, you want a bit of sunshine. Oh, we had some sunshine, but we also had some rain. Oh, it was horrendous in the evening. Look at them all filled with water. Fantastic. That’s all right. I’ll just bucket it all out then, shall I? Wrong. Once all the water is out, they’re all dug out. It’s time for the standard process. Geoexile membrane. Then we put the type one in. Give it a little spreading steady. And then we put the old plumber on it and whack it all down. And then they’re ready to lay. Little sharp mix. Four to one. Slurry on the back. And let’s get him down. Rubbly jaby. We had four of us on it. We had one man mixing, one man bringing us the barrerow, one man slurrying, and one man laying. Oh, it worked like an absolute treat, buddy. Done every single one. Bar two. Unbelievable. But let us know what you think in the comments.

Ive shut all the haters up for you mate, dont list to them cunts lol
What’s the geotextile membrane for? Weeds growing through slabs now?
Grat job. I had something very similar years ago, but i found that by the time I'd near the end of the walkway, my steps were landing on the grass in-between the slabs. Had to make akward steps to land on the slabs lol
Can displace the water with type 1
Why they set to far in the ground. Plus it must be a nightmare to cut the grass
There is no way you filled that slip. Il be surprised if you even covered the bottom of it. But you don't care because the customer pays for it.
How many men does it take to lay some pavers these days …. Sheesh
Gap between the slabs are too big. Personally I would just make a concrete path the whole was down the garden it's cleaner that way
Everyone is copying the plumber geezer now! 😂
✅ fuck the driveway
✅ fuck the lawn
✅ get paid
Big skip for that!! Can imagine your millennial prices.
Had broken shaped pavers like this in my family home's back yard. They played havoc with the mower and always get buried beneath grass growth. The big problem was maintenence, pavers move over time and with use.
I would've dug a continuous trench laid some kind of gravel to stop the grass growing up between the pavers and run the path parallel and flush with the pool fence. Then lay a brick mowing strip on the opposite side. Less elegant but way more practical.
Worried about messing up the lawn, but then puts a skip directly onto a clay paved drive 😂😂😂😂😂
Boys top job proper
Fact youd do them all bar 2 says alot
4 men 2 days thats 5 flags each per day, and not even hard digging 😂
Good videos mate, turn down the cringe fraction 😅
Woof woof
4 workers to lay that – blimey. A fool and his money springs to mind, but then it does appear to be London or environs, so "I saw you coming" is the order of the day.
And not a spirit level in sight
Could’ve put a sheet of ply down under the skip lad
Why no board under the skip your working on a house worth over 800k wtf cowboys
4 of you to do that 🙄🙄🙄🙄 someone’s paying well over the odds
