  1. yes, which is why when you give a parrot a chili, you need to remember you did that. otherwise, you get a spicy surprise when they give a little kiss/lick to your face.

  2. I've asked my neighbor about putting hot peppers in his bird seed many times and he just refuses to do it. Our neighborhood has been overrun with rodents since he moved in and put up tons of feeders. He actually has had the absolute gall to complain about the rodent problem in the neighborhood too a couple of times. He is such an ass. It'd be so wonderful if there was a way to convince this idiot to use something like this seed.

  3. If there is seed a plenty, why would the bird bother looking for insects on your plants?

  4. By the way, the chili does not deter all pests, some lime spicy food. I have seen other people try them before with no luck, so something for people to keep in mind before buying, it may not work for your unique pests, or generation of pest after generation.

  5. We have a million acorns in my yard every year. Next year im putting out a box with a little hole in it near a feeder for the squirrels to “bury” their acorns in xD they fill my bird houses every year so why not Xd

  6. I’ve been doing the sunflower Milet mix for a long time. The birds love it. I don’t have the chili oil stuff. Then again, I don’t have squirrels.

  7. No, thank you. This would not work in my yard. Because the more birds, the more feral cats around. I always find dead birds in my yard. I would love to find a way to keep the feral cats out of my garden. That's for sure

  8. Its so sad to see the crow be dismissed like that. They can be very beneficial to a garden by eating rodents, grubs and grasshoppers. Why not build a crow feeder using just a handful of feed per day that way theyll still have interest in eating insects etc. Not to mention that if they had food of their own, they would probably leave the song birds alone.
