It is far to young to conclude it being crested. In the early stages of propagation the new head often go through little mutations before maturing. Even if there is a flat stem, it will soon most likely split into multiple heads.
Growing a crested plant from leaf propagation is quite rare. When I talked with a biologist that grows succulents about it he mentioned it being like 1 of 1000 odds at least if not lower.

It’s actually relatively common for leaf props to begin crested, but more often than not, they work themselves out and split into multiple heads as they continue to grow. Still very exciting to see those little fasciated props, though!

Like others have said. Every single one of my props have done this in the past – all either properly split into multiple, or went down to one head!

I’ve had up to 4 babies pop out of a leaf prop before. I hope it is for ya, but don’t count your eggs before they chicken, as they don’t say

This happens to so many of my props, never had one crested. It’s normal, they will soon split off and each will have its own stem
