I'm new to this obsession and this is the second terrarium I make. It hosts random moss and a small Fittonia cutting that will hopefully root and thrive. I added a cute animation of the building process.
I layered pebbles, activated charcoal and good soil for the substrate. I used a 50 denier stocking piece to separate the pebbles from the rest. Soil hosts some critters but I don't know if I want to keep it bioactive, or even if it's possible.
