I wonder what Aaron is thinking about pruning without Laura's permission!
What an impressive and satisfying video this morning from Aaron and Laura! The pole barn looks great! Im so happy for you Aaron! Watching Laura plant the bulbs around the pond area this morning was relaxing for me, her hard work will definitely pay off.
Question: How will you winter the koi and tilapia this year?
Just a little thought I had that I wanted to share
It feels like you spend a lot of time planting bulbs because you want to manage the placement which is totally understandable
However I feel you could go around with a marking gun and mark where you want specific daffodils and tulips planted and then have help come through dig the holes and plant the bulbs because that part is pretty easy after you mark and indicate where you want each bulb and type to go
You could use different color marking guns to represent the different bulbs and leave it to your team to take care of this task for you.
I think it's important to balance spending your time on things you enjoy and it seems like every fall you're spending a lot of time doing something you don't really like… I think it's okay to admit that you don't love this and to outsource it… Just like you guys support your team not loving putting Christmas lights on so you work to outsource that I think you should give the same grace to yourself.
Love your channel you are truly inspiring and remind me of all the garden tasks I need to do throughout the year. ๐
Free labor planting the bulbs, you canโt beat it ๐
๐
You should have Bethany help you doing a huge job like that. Whoa!
Will the snow blow into the barn?
Bravo Aron! ๐ I am also soo excited about the pole barn and how neat, organized and tidy it looks ๐ I showed it to my hubbs directly and pointed out that we need something similar but smallerโฆ. Way smaller ๐ Just loove all you and Laura do! Thank You for sharing ๐ซถ๐ป
Hi Laura, Iโm sure itโs going to look spectacular. Why are you fertilising around the pond when you know full well you can pollute the pond water and the fish? Mulch is bad too but you continue to do it. As you say you do as you like. Sometimes lessons take a while to learn you will see for yourself this spring. Bulbs donโt need fertiliser, didnโt you just say this. Whatever I still love watching you and your family. Iโve given up many gardening channels as itโs the same routine from year to year. I canโt go without my daily dose of Laura , I think you are wonderful. Mxx
Wow, all the great storage noe is awesome.
Great, Aaron finally got to put all his toys away. Laura, time to relax after all those bulbs, what a job that was.
You donโt need to go to the extreme of concrete blocks to create bays, concrete fence posts with concrete gravel boards slotted in form excellent bays
Here worried about the two hundred bulbs I ordered. LOL
I'm so excited for your SPRING BULB FUTURE REVEAL!
I picked up some bulbs at half price as itโs late for planting here. I plan to put them in pots and cold store them till spring. Iโll repot them to planters outside then. Never tried this before๐ค๐ป
Aaron, I love that black plastic palette too. There looked like a few more at the warehouse. Would love to know how they do for heavy attachments.
My two favorite things in one video – planting beautiful things and organizing!! Both so satisfying! It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on different brands of garden tools. You have a perfect test market in your followers. How about soliciting pros and cons comments from the gardeners who watch your videos everyday and are already using some of these products? We all have different needs and priorities and those comments could be useful to all of us before we invest. Thanks for thinking about our budgets and, as always, we are grateful for the positive and uplifting example that you share with us through your hard work, parenting, and family values. You are a bright light – keep shining.โค๏ธ
Hyacinth are one of my favorites spring time flowers, I have mine planted with my irises!
Love โคโคโคโคโค the pole barn! And the compost and mulch bays will be spectacular! I live near a nursery that has those bays for that and ๐ชจ rocks and sand, etc. It is a great idea for your property scale! ๐
The Felco is way more expensive in Sweden and I ordered a new pair as I lost mine the same time Laura did, but has not been lucky enough to find them yet! I loove the look on the brown โstake knifeโ looking ones! Question; how do you know if you like the feel of them? Can you send them back if you try to just hold them and the do not feel good. Otherwise it is cheaper to buy a pair you know fit you then a pair you never use because they are uncomfortable! I know how you feel about refunding plants, and I agree on plants but not sure what I feel about sectaures! What do you think??
Look at Aaron beinโ all vlog-y!!! So great
Aaron, just want to let you know how much your in front of the camera segments are appreciated and enjoyed!!! Keep them coming!
The half Laura/half Aaron posts ! ๐๐ป๐๐
Here in Oklahoma we have to watch for squirrels when we put bulbs into the ground because still dig them up and eat them
I love you all…

Loved watching the kids and you with the bulb planting. Aaronโs look at the pole barn and storing equipment is terrific. Looks so neat and organized!
Just a suggestion, it might be fun to hold the video on one of your bulb plantings until the spring and show it with the result to feel the full impact.
Love the emergence of signs of spring from bulbsโฆand of course their blooms. However, NOT the lingering foliage that gets to looking pretty scrappy before yiu can cut them back.
