Elizabeth J. Czarapata’s Invasive Plants of the Upper Midwest was published in 2005, but it is, sadly, still incredibly relevant today

I don't think this book is in print anymore (I had to seek it out used), but it's incredibly prescient and has been very inspiring. She, tragically, passed away before it was published and I think that's what hits me – she worked to finish it during cancer treatment and her passion motivates me every time I pick it up.

The introduction is very sad given it came out 20 years ago… Regardless:

"The good news is that this is one environmental problem that we can do something about. I have seen the tremendous difference that even a few individuals can make in the battle to regain the land for native species."
