Why even include dying, brown, unhealthy plants in the tent at all? Each week they've gotten progressively worse and I assume they're just too dry, but I can't help but wonder if there's an underlying spider mite problem. I wish I could find a close up shot. Has anyone else noticed these plants in the baking tent this season? Or am I just too hyper aware of bug infested plants in foodservice settings?

These are the questions people need answered

  2. I haven’t started this season yet, now I’m going to be dying waiting for the plants to be shown in the background 😂

I doubt they have a greensperson on set, so I imagine set dec put the plants out at the top of the season and the on-set dresser is maybe, *maybe* checking the plant weekly. Generally, it’s closer to 100 in that tent all the time, so it could just be getting cooked from high heat, not enough watering (or everyone on the crew waters it, at which point it’s drowning) and basically no sun.

    ‘Tis my guess.
