BOSTON – For the third consecutive year, the final round of the Women’s Beanpot will return to TD Garden this January. Additionally, the semifinals of this year’s tournament will be hosted by Boston University at Walter Brown Arena.
The semifinals of the 47th annual Women’s Beanpot will be played on Jan. 13 while the final and third place games will take place at TD Garden on Jan. 20.
Last season, BU played in front of a record-breaking crowd of 13,279 fans, the largest group to ever watch a women’s hockey game in New England.
BU will face Northeastern in the later semifinal at Walter Brown Arena at 7:30 p.m. Harvard and Boston College will meet in the other semifinal at 4:30 p.m. The third place game is set for 4:30 p.m. and the championship is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at TD Garden.
