They look healthy but i feel like by now they should have some flowers? This front plant had a couple runners. Should i prune them back or will they produce flowers??

You should cut the runners for sure. If it’s focused on growing runners it won’t spare the energy for flowers and fruit.

How old are they? I am not a strawberry expert but I’ve heard that in the first year, they don’t produce fruit. I would let the runners grow if you want more strawberry plants, or you can pot them up and give it to friends and family as a gift.

I had 10 strawberry plants this summer. 5 from the market that are on their second year, and 5 from the nursery (i.e. new plant on their first year). Only the plants from the market gave me strawberries. The other 5 just keep producing runners.

Do you know what variety they are? If they are a day short (I think!) variety, they may be having their long day break and may flower again when day length gets shorter towards autumn.

FWIW, I bought a strawberry plant from Bunnings a few weeks ago and it’s fruiting (this is my first time at growing strawberries)

I added pine needles and crushed pine cones and the boost in acidity really helped mine!
