I have an off grid green house. Looking to get water drip tubes, or a timer for watering sweet potato starts. I’m seeing some solar powered pumps online, has anyone purchased these for similar projects? I’m doing it as budget friendly as I can, and batteries make the price go up.
I live in Florida with plenty of sun, and can use a DC pump for 3-5 times a day. I don’t think I need battery storage.
Thanks for the help! Plus I’d love to buy from a fellow Reddit referral than from Home Depot, if someone has a connection.

Just get an electric line ran out there and a few outdoor covered sockets. You’ll have tons of uses for it in the long run, lights, heaters, fans, radio, who knows!

If you don’t need to water much, a large barrel elevated above the ground can work well.

Fill a water barrel when the sun is shining and use gravity water pressure any other time. Put a barrel higher than the thing you’re watering.
