Rescued this aloe plant from a Lowe’s – it was just one brown stalk. That was over five years ago 🥹 But what about the little guys?
My question though is: what do I do with all these little seemingly-baby plants that are poking out? Should I try to remove and propagate? I'm a novice so any guidance is greatly appreciated.
The pups can live with the mother plant as long as there is enough space – and aloe is one that can tolerate some pot crowding!
It’s easiest to take baby plants off the mother when you’re already doing a repotting, but in my experience aloe is pretty hardy to disturbance. I would say prop if you want more plants to share/increase growth, let it crowd for now if you’re just worried about the health of the plant.
