I've just purchased this plant a week ago, try to give it direct sun light 4 hours a day – 4 days a week give or take.
I water 1-2 times a day depending on intensity of sunlight it was given as the lady i bought it from said water it twice a day.
When it's not outside it's on my window seal as pictured, or on my tall boy.
I've noticed it's slowly turning more and more yellow as time goes on.
Is this from over/under watering?
Not enough sunlight?
natural aging of inner needles? nutrient deficiencies?
Or stress from pests or new environment??

Dying. Likely too late, but put it outside immediately and leave it there year round. You are starving it of light, and likely the person you bought it from did too.
In my humble opinion, I think it is most likely overwatering if you’re watering 1-2 times a day. Could be that it’s not outside enough as well.
Twice a day is probably too much water and living inside at ALL will kill it. Watering is a skill, not a checkbox, and you’ll want to pay attention to when the tree needs water, not just following a general watering rule.
Get it outside!
It’s on the wrong side of the glass
Water only when you stick your finger in the soil and it’s not damp.
And 4 hours sunlight 4 days a week won’t work. It needs to be outside all the time in full sun. During spring/summer/fall it needs at least 8 hours a day every day.
I’m sorry. It gonna die. It’s too late. I have been you, it’s like I’m time traveling trying to console my past self.
Not a house plant
